This will be a virtual working meeting among USGEO members and by invitation-only.
Day 1 (April 11, 1-3pm EST)
Theme: GEO priorities
• GEO Engagement Priority on Resilient Cities and Human Settlements
• Connections to International policy frameworks
• How U.S. policies tie into GEO (Ex: Climate Executive Orders)
• Potential Panel w/U.S. Leadership (Rick Spinrad, David Applegate, USGEO co-
chairs, etc)
Day 2 (April 12, 1-3pm EST)
Theme: GEO Work Programme
• General discussion of GWP, and process for drafting new GWP for 2023-2025
• Breakout sessions around nexuses identified by GEO Programme Board
• Review and outcomes of breakout sessions
Day 3 (April 13, 1-3pm EST)
Theme: Regionalization of GEO Activities
• Implementing global activities to meet regional needs
• Agency priorities & activities in Western Hemisphere and ties to AmeriGEO
Day 4 (April 14, 1-3pm EST)
Theme: GEO crosscutting activities (Day 4)
Various breakout sessions on multiple topics, such as:
• Tribal engagement
• Islands
• Inclusivity
• Youth
• Private sector
