Living Planet Symposium
May 23, 2022 - May 27, 2022
ESA is pleased to invite you to participate in the European Space Agency’s 2022 Living Planet Symposium. The event, which is held every three years, will take place on 23–27 May 2022 in Bonn, Germany. The symposium is organised with the support of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
This symposium focuses on how Earth observation contributes to science and society, and how disruptive technologies and actors are changing the traditional Earth observation landscape, which is also creating new opportunities for public and private sector interactions.
The successful Living Planet Symposium (LPS) 2019, with more than 4000 participants, proved to be the world’s largest Earth observation conference to date. The 2022 meeting will bring the international Earth observation community together to focus on:
• UNDERSTANDING EARTH SYSTEMS
• ADVANCE FUTURE TECHNOLOGY FOR EARTH OBSERVATION MISSIONS
• NURTURE PUBLIC & PRIVATE SECTOR PARTNERSHIPS
• ENABLING THE EARTH OBSERVATION DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
• EMPOWERING THE GREEN TRANSITION
Please consult the scientific session descriptions available here in order to identify the session(s) of your interest.
The registrations for the Living Planet Symposium 2022 will open soon. The registration fees for the conference are:
- Regular Participants: €75
